I want to convey my deepest condolences to the family. I meet Mutht years ago when she and my mom Marcia Wright worked together as 911 operators. Mutht was a great person who always had a smile and a kind word. I would see her through the years at Forte Greene in Brooklyn Park dancing to house music just enjoying the vibe. She was truly special.

Your mother inspired me, when I first was introduced to her she started my Locs. When I first heard of locs I called them dread locs, she corrected me by explaining and giving me a book on Locs. She said Dread Locs are not dreadful and at that moment I felt empowered. So Ms. Nu you will always be a part of me. Sister Mutht was always a big sister to me. We worked together for many years traveled and raised our families together. She was a caring and nurturing person.
