I am deeply saddened by the loss of my former colleague and dearest friend, Beverly. She was more than just a friend to me—she was a true sister, someone who saw me through my toughest times and I through hers. When I wasn’t doing well, she traveled such a long distance just to be by my side, showing me the depth of her care and love. It meant the world to me, and I’ll never forget that kindness. In fact, she told her daughter and son that coming to see me would be the best birthday gift she could receive —reminding me of how much she cherished our bond of over 40 years. They agreed and brought her to see me. I will hold onto that memory forever. Her presence in my life was a gift, and though she is no longer with us, the love and strength she gave me will live on in my heart. I will truly miss our many daily facetime calls. I love you Kurtis and Gianna(Gee). Take your rest my dear Beverly(B).
