My Day One, First Best Friend, Ride Or Die,
& The One And Only Best Grandmother Ever,
You have always been there for me from the very first day I entered this Earth. You were my confidant, understanding, and always consistently loving. There was no seeing Minnie without her precious spoiled brat Nicole. I always said my mother was just your surrogate. Lol… You took me everywhere and helped teach me many life lessons. How to cook, clean, step out in style, have respect for myself, be present with God, know my worth, and unconditional love. Your many life teachings and lessons helped mold me into the woman I am today. When I fell you helped pick me up. When I cried you held my hand and loved me unconditionally. My life wouldn't be what it is today without you helping me through it, praying me through it, and loving me through it. I appreciate you! No matter what you were going through you always kept a genuine smile, & a heart of gold. You were an angel here on Earth, and now an angel watching over me from above. Not seeing you and hearing you say 'Hey Mama," "I love you more," or complaining about how much food I cooked for you, or medicine I gave you everyday will bring great sadness. But I will cherish every memory and moment spent with you. You are the Greatest Grandmother I could ever ask for, and I will miss you each and everyday. Thank you for always walking beside me, and I pray you will continue to walk beside me. You promised to come see me often. So I will await you in my dreams. This is not Good Bye but See You Later.

To my pretty girl, I can’t say anything you didn’t already know. You were a beacon and I am so grateful of the values you put into me. I learned so much of myself by being your girl. Grandma,
Words cannot describe how much you mean to me and to this family. Your warmth, your love, your joy, and your bubbly/feisty personality will truly be missed. There will forever be a huge void now that we lost our Minnie Lee. Although you have gone home, you will forever be in my heart. I will cherish all the memories I made with you while you were here. I’ll miss peeling carrots with you for your famous carrot cake. I’ll miss driving around NY during your annual visits while you drop off freshly baked coconut pies, pound cakes, and other goodies. You made sure to spend time with everybody you loved individually which really made us all feel special, valued and loved. Although we have to say our goodbyes to you for now, you leave behind a lot of love, memories, and an outstanding legacy. I’ll love you and miss you forever.
