I'm going to forever regret not being able to say this to you in person but I recall you coming to help my mother fix her bathrooms and you came everyday from Long Island to the BX( I thought you were crazylol) but little did I know , you were there for a reason.i was a young man questioning my faith due to my mom's cancer and being young (19). Jerry has been a long lime friend who stopped to see me. and my Mother often.
As our OUR PASTOR ... we asked Jerry in the event of either my mother or My passing, that he represent our Eurologys just in the event of some thing happening. sadly, weeks later my mother passed & Jerry gave my mother Theresa a tribuite that was so incredible, . the Room wept and are. we are still receiving calls and Notes. giving Jerry and My mother support.

Sending my deepest condolences as I reflect on my last encounter with our cousin Jerry “Wonderful” Williams. I observed him in ministerial action at the culmination of our last Davenport family reunion in Norfolk, VA several years ago as he rushed over to help my son load his family’s suitcases in their car as they were about to depart for a long drive back home to New Orleans, LA. It gave me a warm, cozy feeling to watch the interaction between Jerry and my son, which was like a godly father talking to his son with a driving passion, conviction, and abounding love. Not being directly involved in the conversation, I’m certain that Jerry left an indelible impression on my son’s life. Thank you for sharing your husband with us. Kingdom Greetings Lady Shawna, The entire family and the host of friends, I will never forget Pastor Jerry. He was always sooooo passionate about the word of God! He would not let down until God had his way. Lol I mean he wasn’t trying leave no one behind! He would witness to you, read the word with you, pray for you and call you until salvation on a street corner!
I remember him always saying, I can show you better than I can tell you! Turn to the word with me and let me prove my point! I also want to say Thanks for introducing me to the good ole Dakes Bible back in the 90’s KJV of course! It was life changing. You were certainly paper Bible saved then too! What sticks with me most about you is The word of God was always the final authority concerning your life. Your opinion didn’t matter!
As it’s proof that many people have been touched by your presence here in the earth. Thanks for allowing your light to shine bright like a diamond. By loving God’s people enough to minister to them and for winning souls for the kingdom of God.

I was so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. I will always remember Jerry. He was always laughing and making sure everyone was engaged in the festivities of the day. He will be missed by myself and my family. I love you guys and you will be in prayers.
