Willie Mae Meacham was married to the deceased George Meacham for fifty years. They had two children, Katrina (deceased)and George, and three grandchildren, Anthony Johnson (deceased), Darius and Damien Meacham. She also has a number of Nieces and Nephews. She graduated from Harriet Beecher Stowe High School, and retired as an Administrative Assistant with Queens General Hospital after thirty years. She has been a member of First Calvary Baptist Church since 1999. She came to the church with 4 girlfriends, Anna, Margie, May and Sarah. Sarah and Willie were best friends since high school. They both resided and shared a room together at the Meadowbrook Nursing home until they both transitioned.

Willie mae loved a good cup of coffee and a buttered roll.  She loved to dance and she enjoyed herself with the fellowship of her church family.  When she became weak in her health she always kept a warm smile on her face.  Her life impacted all generations from young to old.  We were all Blessed to have her in our lives for 99 years.  To God be the Glory!!
