Ms.Irene was one of the sweetest lady I’ve ever known. She was the epitome of poise, so classy. Always greeted you with a smile. I remember her loving the outdoors. She would get her blanket, spread it out on the grass and just relax with her book as we played in the yard. She also loved the beach, she would take us every chance she could. Would pack up the cooler with the cold cuts, them fancy rolls (at that time), fresh fruit, snacks, juices and of course a book to read. She loved to read always had a book in her hand. There are some many memories. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. May you treasure all of your memories of your Mother. May God gives her eternal rest and Shauna, Markie and the family the strength to bear the pain. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Love you all to the moon and back, my deepest sympathies. Hugs Wanda & Man

At first, I was so sad that my dear friend had gone., but now, I'm so excited to know that my dear friend will be watching over us all! It was an honor for me, that GOD brought our families together on Walnut Rd. We became friends immediately and so did our children. We played stick ball, ran races (Irene was fast) with the kids, played endless hours of old school music in her basement, went to concerts by limo, to NYC once a year. I will cherish these moments with my dear friend and miss her dearly. Rejoice in Paradise, Irene!

My aunt Irene was definitely my favorite! Always kind and a loving person! Although we lived in the Bronx my parents took us to long Island to visit my cousins Marky and Shauna alot!
