Obituary of Milton J. Harris

Milton was born the eldest of 10 children to loving parents. While attending the Gratefull Hill School he became known for his love of music and learned to play any instrument that fell into is hands. The first official instrument he ever purchased was the banjo. Milton also learned the trade of sewing and become a professional Tailor.
Milton met Mavis while living in Jamaica W.I. and they were joined in holy matrimony. Sometime after Milton migrated to the United States of America where his wife Mavis joined him thereafter. He temporarily resided in California before permanently relocating to New York. Milton had a steady career working for the New York State Pilgrim Psychiatric Center and later worked for as a Transportation Driver for the Department of Education.
Milton was a faithful member of The Church of God of Prophecy for over 50 years. He held the titles of: Musician, Deacon, Van Driver, Trustee Board Member and the list goes on.
Milton leaves to mourn his passing his wife Mavis and their 4 children; Sheryl, Kartan, Alicia, and Paul: along with siblings, grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews.
