On Good Friday I had the most wonderful dream of Grandpapa. He had an amazing smile on his face. Then suddenly it began fading away going upward and I woke up. I never dreamed of him before. Later that morning my cousin Sebastian call me and told me that he had contracted the Coronavirus. Then I told Sebastian about the dream I had earlier that morning. On Resurrection Sunday it was announced that he had passed away. I thank God for giving me that confirmation that my Grandpapa has made it into the Kingdom of God (Heaven) smiling with all the Angels seeing Jesus face-to-face. I will miss him but I am so happy that the dream was given to me and now my Grandpapa is truly at peace. Your grandson Danny Duviella.

Mr Duviella ( Grandpoppa) was a joy to be around. His beautiful French accent was music to the ears when he spoke each individual's, name especially Grandmoma. We became one huge family in love and in many Good FamilyTimes. We had fun, lots of jokes, playing pool, dancing, beautiful birthday parties / dinners. Being the mother of four of his grandchildren was truly a gift from God. To have lived 94 years on this Earth was a blessing. But the highlight of this Home Going Celebration was the day Mr Telephe Duviella confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior with tears in his eyes saying yes! to the Lord. Mr Duviella is now in Heavenly places seeing Jesus face-to-face. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory. We shall meet again. Be encourage precious hearts. I just love my Duviella family.

Wishing I was able to see you before you went to be with the Lord. However, I’m just honored to be your granddaughter! I loved when we came to visit and you was so excited to show us whatever new gadget you purchased. Just know your legacy will be carried on through us all. I love you Grandpapa and may you sleep in peace!!! You granddaughter Nadia

Just want to let you know how loved and missed you will be. Many childhood memories of going to the house in Cambria Heights and had Haitian food and listened to you and Grandmama talk in your native language (something I wish we would of learned).
As an adult - Moments where we could of visited and thought we had more time is an understatement..We may not understand why but God knew best.
Memories will last a lifetime..
Love you forever...Your Granddaughter Sha Sha
