Obituary of Lena H Miller

Lena Claire Hyacinty Miller was born on July 5th 1932 in St. Elisabeth, Jamaica. She then moved to Kingston Jamaica with her husband Balmain Miller. Together they raised 7 children, Danny, Melva, Trevor, Charles, Arlene, Balmain, Keith and Saidy. In 1973 the family relocated to the United States in 1973, where she lived Roosevelt New York. Lena Miller worked hard doing various jobs to take care of her children. Later on Lena Miller was hired and worked in housekeeping at Holly Patterson Extended Care from 1993 to when she retired in December of 2003. After her retirement, Lena Miller travel to and from Jamaica, keeping close contact with family and friends. Lena Miller treated everyone like family. She continuously kept in contact with everyone. Whenever she went to Jamaica she would send a barrel of clothes, shoes and food, she would share it with people less fortunate. If she had extra, she was always willing to give to anyone who was in need . She was truly a loving person with a big heart who will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Lena Miller leaves behind to mourn her death, her children, Charles Miller, Arlene Sharon Miller, Balmain Miller, Keith Miller, and Saidy Miller, Grand children, Keisha Miller, Charlie Rock Miller, Jamar Miller, Andre Miller, Nicole Smith, Stuart Mattew Burgess, Ariel Oreo, Monique Whitt, Skylar Richmond, Kenyatta Miller, Justine and Quashawn Miller, Elijah Miller.
