Ja’Asia was born at Nassau County Medical Center to Yolander Jemison and Jason Hasty on July 25, 2000. She graduated from Hempstead High School in 2019. While attending Hempstead High School she played Volleyball and she was also a Cheerleader, which she loved. Ja’Asia also enjoyed being a hair stylist to friends and family. Her long-term goals was to be a Social Worker. Ja’Asia was very outgoing and always meeting new friends. She had a great sense of humor, she was always cracking jokes and laughing. She was always wearing a smile on her face. She also loved music. You would always find Ja’Asia giving advice or counseling someone. To know Ja’Asis as to love her. Ja’Asis is preceded in death by Grandmother Faye Burnett, 2015. Ja’Asia is survived by her Daughter Kalise Ahvion Fay Turner, her sister Je’Bria Johnson, her parents Yolander Jemison and Jason Hasty, her grandmother Patricia Summerville, grandfather Edric Jemison, aunt Erin (Tonya) Summerville and a host of cousins and friends.
