"I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH." 2 TIMOTHY 4:7 Loving husband, proud father, dear brother and lifelong friend Randolph Linden Giles was born on June 11, 1924 in Demerara River Westbank in Guyana. Randolph known to many as Linden accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal savior at an early age. Linden found is greatest pleasures praying, writing his rich history, traveling and searching for knowledge. Linden left Guyana in pursuit of the American Dream. While living in the USA Linden attended and graduated from the Beach Channel High School for adults with a concentration in auto. Continuing to make a better life for himself Linden worked at the City of New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a specialist in food protection. Linden eventually retired from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City where he proudly worked as a Diesel maintenance technician. Linden enriched the lives of so many people. He lived a full and exemplary life inspiring those around him with his dedication to his family and Masonic brothers. He had a caring and loving character that made him a great friend to all. Linden loved to smiling and reminiscing on his lifelong experiences. With hopes of bettering himself, Linden never settled but rather worked very hard. Seeking spiritual greatness he became a member of Noar's Masonic 73 Lodge. Continuing on his spiritual journey he transitioned to his final resting place on Wednesday November 25, 2015. Living to the golden age of ninety-one, three wives precede him in death along with one of his dearly loved and adored children. He leaves to cherish amazing memories with his beloved wife Patsy Giles, children Winslow, Wyath, Lindon, Nigel, Noel, Dinese, Sherel , and most dear to his heart Ivor. One brother Lesley Giles, a very special cousin and care taker Sandra Weekes, a host of cousins and close friends including Shan Garrett, Huvon Devonish, Deryck Merchant and best friend Tony Jackson. He will be greatly missed by all!
