Wayne was a childhood friend in Queens, I was deeply saddened by is passing. I have fond, funny memories that I will always cherish. As an adult I was blessed to witness his musical talent. rest in peace dear friend
My heart goes out to Wayne's family. I know Wayne from singing Open Mic at the Manhattan Proper. He was MY keyboard guy. He always gently coaxed me to do more as a singer when I was on stage. I have a recording that I will cherish forever of him prompting me to ad lib a little on stage. He was always pleasant and warm to me as a person.
His homegoing service was beautiful. The presence of so many people is a testimonial to the amount of lives he touched. I will miss him.
