Obituary of James A McClendon

James A. McClendon was born on March 5, 1944, in Louisville, Alabama to the late George and Annie Mae McClendon.

He was baptized at Mount Nebo Baptist Church, Louisville, Alabama in 1956.

James moved to Florida for a short period of time, relocated to Island Park, and then moved to Uniondale, New York until his death on November 16, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Erlene McClendon of Orlando, Florida and Felicia McClendon of Long Beach, New York.  He leaves three sisters, Pastor Daisy Gilbert of Eufaula, Alabama; Mary B. McClendon of Baldwin, New York and Katherine Herran of Long Beach, New York; One brother Roy L. McClendon of Freeport, New York, two Sisters-in-Law, Lela McClendon of Freeport, New York and Jessie Key of Eufaula, Alabama.
