On July 2, 1926 Mabel was welcomed into this world by her parents; Rannie and Beulah Dysart of Martin Tennessee. In Mabel's early life she grew up in Martin TN, with her six siblings Addie Lee, Clarence (Charlie), Otis, Gracie, Ora Mae and Beulah. Mabel received her Education from the Weakley County Public schools. Mabel received Christ into her life at the tender young age of nine at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Martin Tennessee where she was also baptized and served until to her migration to New York. In the early 1950's Mabel met and married Arzel Templeton. To this union one child Jim was born. In the late 1950's, Mabel migrated to New York for a better life where she found work as a domestic for 20 plus years. After Mabel's move to New York she then joined The Mt. Sinai Baptist Church under the Pastorate of the Late Rev. Walter Mackey and served there until her transition. In Mabel's later years in life she took on the companionship of Mr. George Wallace until his death in 2005 Mabel loved to do many things. She volunteered as a foster grandparent She loved to spend time with her family, gardening, cooking, and not to mention shopping but even while shopping she knew how to get any bargain she could. And on any given sunny day you could find her sitting in her garage with her feet up. Mabel Departed this life December 12, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. Mabel is preceded in death by her parents Rannie and Beulah, her siblings Addie Lee, Clarence (Charlie), Otis, Gracie, Ora Mae and Beulah. Her husband Arzel and other relatives. She Leaves to Cherish her memory one son Deacon Jim Dysart of Freeport NY, 4 Grandchildren, Anthony Hogan of Roosevelt , James Dysart of Freeport , Renee Phillis of Allentown Pennsylvania , Trevon Fergerson of Long Beach, 2 Great-grandchildren Rasheem and Shakeria Hogan of Queens and a host of nieces, nephews and others.
