Obituary of Fannie L Bryant

Please share a memory of Fannie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Fannie Lee Bryant, "Mother Dear", if you are about to purchase a Pillsbury Chocolate frosting, stop. Consider: Fannie Lee (most knew her as Fannie/Mother dear) who entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Fannie during her 71 years among us: such as if you have allergies then put a scarf and sunglasses on if you are going outside, and keep your house and car windows closed. If you had a problem Jesus is the only one who could fix it. She used a million ingredients to make one little thing, and switched up many recipes. To make her homemade chocolate frosting you will need Hershey cocoa, unsalted butter, vanilla flavor, carnation milk, confectioners sugar and lots of love. Fannie "Mother Dear" born December 15, 1944 to Eula Mae Phillips and Dennis Welch in Hertford, North Carolina. She graduated from Perquiman County High School in 1962, top ten in her class. Her favorite sayings were "say the word", 10-4, love you, and "nothing beats a failure but a try." She loved her family, cooking, dancing, laughing, playing cards/dominoes and Pokeno. She was very skillful at playing and reading dominoes and was known to give many a six love in her living room. She loved decorating her home with mirrors, vintage furniture pieces and abstract art. Mother Dear was very clean, forgiven, prayerful, crazy, a firecracker, immortal, real/genuine, unique, had a good heart, a fighter, full of wisdom, solider of life, fun, a phenomenal cook, knew life and shared her experiences willingly, very caring and loving, kind, heart of the family, amazing, fashionable, inspiring and veteran of perseverance, opportunity and prosperity. She was a woman with a lot of faith and a dedicated worshiper. She is survived by her 6 children, 2 daughter in-laws and 12 grandchildren. Rena Phillips (Daquan, DaShawn); Bernelle Bryant (Cindy, Brandon (deceased); Matissa Bryant (Nia, Naya); John Nurse (Aja, Morgan); Stanley Martin (Miranda(wife, Nemari, Stanley Jr., Stephon, Kaianna); Douglas (Brianna (wife), Sayvon (deceased), Dajiah, Destiny). She also leaves behind four (4)siblings and 2 in-laws; Linwood Welch (Alcenia); Mary White (Tom), Saundra Phillips, Donald Welch and a host of nieces, nephews, uncle, aunts, cousins and friends.
