On March 26, 1950, Robert was welcomed into the world with great joy by his parents; Dan and Roberta White of Clayton, Alabama. Robert attended Barbour County School System in Eufaula, Alabama. He later moved to Long Beach, New York. He attended Long Beach High School where he graduated. He Joined the United States Army after graduation. He was a student of Bethel Bible Institute where he received a certificate of completion. He worked for many years (40+) at the Beach Terrace Nursing Home. Robert gave his life to Christ very early on as a teenager. He later joined Gospel Lighthouse assembly where he was an active member under the leadership of Rev. Earl Mitchell until his illness. Robert was married to Jessie Cooper and to this union they have two children; Cedric and Nakeshia, both of Florida. He was married to Julia McBride and they have three children; Donna, Donell and Lahnell. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers; Major, Melvin, Walter, Marshall and Alphonza; four sisters, Pauline, Corine, Otha and Irene. Precious memories remain with those who love him the most. His children, Cedric and Nakeisha, grandchildren, Brianna, Kelby, Faith, Ashton, Robert Jr., Derrick Jr., Renija, Cee Cee; one great grandchild, Khamron; four sisters, Alice(James) Hunt of Rahway, NJ, Mary Betty and Marie of Long Island, and two brothers, Andrew (Brenda) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Rev. Dan White Jr., and Phylis White of Wyandanch, NY.
