We gather to celebrate the life of our beloved Earl, a man who filled our lives with laughter, genuineness, wisdom, an unwavering spirit and a strength of character that was unmatched.

He was a devoted, grandfather and friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. At family gatherings, Earl was the life of the festivities, especially at our cookouts, there was always good music, especially reggae music, great food, dominoes which he loved to play, and cool vibes. His laughter and energy was infectious and contagious. He is remembered for dancing his little two step, his dreads swinging, with a huge smile on his face, just being in the moment and enjoying himself.

What made Earl happy was being around his family, and enjoying the togetherness. We valued and enjoyed every precious moment we had with him. He was always there to celebrate every momentous occasion in all our lives, whether it was graduations, the birth of his grandchildren, birthdays, job promotions, and sometimes just because we wanted to be in each other’s presence. Earl loved his family unconditionally.

It is with a heavy heart, that we have to say goodbye to such a huge presence, who was an exceptional part of all our lives. We are comforted knowing that Earl is no longer suffering and has gone on to take his position with our ancestors in his eternal resting place. Rest in peace.
