Ronald D. Spencer Obituary

Ronald Spencer affectionately known as “Ron- Ron, Loso,Type Rated Ron” was born on July 11th at Plainview Hospital in Plainview, New York to parents Delores Spencer and Ronald Reape.


He began his education at Elementary Hempstead School and later transitioned to Malverne High School, where he graduated in 2011. He continued his education at Schenectady Community College, where he played basketball and further developed his love for the sport.


In 2017, he joined the Tabernacle of Joy Church, Uniondale, NY enriching his life with faith and community.


In 2022, Ronald became engaged to Monasia Green-Hazel and Allora’Lee Green-Spencer, whoxbrought immense joy and love into his life.


Ron-Ron was a man of many talents and passions. He was employed at International Shopp and pursued various interests, including basketball, comedy, football, and rap. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a restaurant, and he had the honor of opening up a comedy show for Mike Epps at the Funny Bone in Albany, NY. His love for fashion was evident in everything he did.


He traveled to various places, including California, Miami, and Virginia Beach, always exploring and embracing new experiences.


Family meant everything to Ron-Ron. He is survived by his fiancée. (Monasia Green-Hazel, daughter (Allora’Lee Green-Spencer), mother(Delores Spencer), father (Ronald Reape), and sister Shamaya Jackson, as well as his brother Cory Spencer. He leaves behind his God brothers Tasheem Jackson, Shawan Bradshaw, Kapri Bradshaw, and William Sawyer, his God sister Dana Sawyer, and three God children: Kindricc Wheeler, Autumn Williams, and Jaymelle Dickson. His nieces, Leilani Jackson, Cory Spencer, and ElliAnna Spencer, will forever cherish his memory. He also had God parents William Sawyer, Sheila Sawyer, and Tosha Lipsey, who played significant roles in his life.


Ronald will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the laughter, love, and joy he brought into the lives of so many.
