Wilbert U. Adams Obituary

Wilbert U. Adams Obituary

Heaven just got a little rowdier and a lot louder.  Wilbert “Bu” Adams, 56, born July 07, 1969 departed this life April 18, 2026.

Bu was the youngest son of the late Josiane Chollet Adams and has now been reunited with his oldest brother, Eric Adams. Above all else, he will be remembered for the deep love he held for his two children, Preston and Angelina, whom he always called his greatest accomplishments.

Bu is also survived by his two siblings, sister Valerie Adams and brother Wilborn Patrick Adams, his sister-in-law Vilma Adams, his better half Nancy Baum, nephew Gavin and spouse Mardea, nephews Elias, Wilborn, Nathaniel and Patrick, nieces Nicole, Jacqueline, and Kaitlyn, and aunts Regine and Raymonde and Uncle Jack.

He also leaves behind his extensive Kappa Alpha Psi family, especially his line brothers Lance, Moe, Allan, JC, Ace, Paul, Darin and Derrick.

One of Bu’s passions was to empower minorities to overcome social injustices and inequalities to accomplish higher than what may be expected of them. He was ambitious, loyal, and a dreamer—not just for himself but for all those around him. He strived to achieve excellence and create a legacy for himself and his family.

Everyone who knew Bu has their own personal stories that will bring us laughs forever. He will always be remembered for helping to shape and touch so many lives. We will miss him but his legacy will always remain close to our heart.
