Vanessa L. Robinson, affectionately known to all as "Nette," a radiant beacon of unwavering faith, grace, and boundless love, was called home to glory on December 30, 2025. She transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, service, and elegance that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Born on September 8, 1955, at Meadowbrook Hospital in East Meadow, New York, Vanessa was the eighth of fourteen children born to the late John and Bessie Williams-Robinson. From an early age, she embodied strength, compassion, and a quiet resilience that defined her life's journey.
Vanessa received her education in the Rockville Centre School District and proudly graduated from South Side High School in 1973. She went on to dedicate over 35 years of faithful public service, including 30 years with the Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, where her professionalism, integrity, and warm spirit touched colleagues and the community alike.
Love found its home in Vanessa's heart through her cherished relationship with Stephen Green, and from that union came her greatest joy—her beloved "Sonshine," Stephen P. Green, the light of her life and her proudest accomplishment.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Bessie Williams-Robinson, and her beloved siblings Frances Robinson, Michael Robinson, Pamela Smith, and Danny Robinson.

A woman of unmistakable grace and elegance, Vanessa had an eye for beauty and a love for fashion and interior design, always presenting herself with poise and style. Her presence lit up every room, her faith anchored her life, and her love enriched all who were blessed to walk alongside her.
Though she has answered the call to her heavenly home, Vanessa "Nette" Robinson's light will never fade. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to shine through generations.
