Albert Reynolds Obituary

Albert Reynolds, affectionately known as “Plug,” was born on November 16, 1942, in Warthen, Georgia, to the late Robert Reynolds and Lillie Bell .He departed this life peacefully after a life filled with love, laughter, sharp style, and deep devotion to family and friends.


Albert spent the majority of his years in New york where he built a meaningful life grounded in strong values, community ties, and a deep sense of pride in who he was.


In 1968, Albert proudly joined the United States Military, serving with honor during the Vietnam War. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and was the recipient of numerous commendations, including the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge (Sharpshooter), and the Vietnam National Defense Medal. His military service was a great  source of pride, reflecting his courage and unwavering dedication.


A lover of football, fashion, and the thrill of lotto, Plug lived each day with Passion & Purpose. Known for always dressing like “every day was Sunday,” Plug never missed a ”chance to show up looking sharp. If you needed your numbers played, you called Plug—he was the go-to guy.


He was married to Amelia Highsmith Reynolds Together for a total of 44 years, including 32 years of marriage, their bond was unbreakable. The only thing plug loved more than Money & them jets was His Bonnie. she took good care of him until the Lord called him home. 


In addition to his parents Albert is preceded in death by Three brothers Tommy Lee Douglas , George Floyd & Robert Reynolds Jr.Two sisters Rose Lewis & Reba Vernet and one daughter Terri Reynolds  & Son Bill Highsmith .


Albert leaves to cherish his memories, a Loving Devoted wife Amelia Highsmith Reynolds, 5 Sons Albert Reynolds Jr, Brian Reynolds, Jamar Reynolds, Ronald Highsmith, Rodney Highsmith, (Kiesha) One Daughter Toni Highsmith. 


Sixteen Grandchildren, Sean, Latasha, (Rashard) Brian Jr, Janelle, Roniesha, Charles, Rodney, Jarred, Sahdae India, Autumn, Niyah, Armani, Paris, Lazarius ,Micah. 


Twenty greatgrandchildren  Numerous Family members including a host of nieces,Nephews, cousins,  Many friends & Best Bud Harold.
