Q: What will you never forget about Michael?
A: As Michael and I were growing up we would always sit together at holiday events because we were age mates. Whether Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving we would always sit and ”chill” together. Since our fathers were brothers and I was the only girl in family he although younger would want to protect me when we all went dancing after the holiday meals. Mikey was fund and super kind. I wil never forget his zen energy. Love you always Mikie.

Thank you for the good times and for being there for my family when we needed you. Family was very important to you, and it showed. You have been in my life since I was 9 years old. I remember when you pulled up on me on 116th Street-Harlem world after getting a call from my mom that I wasn't doing the right thing when I had a baby on the way. As quiet and reserved as you were, you gave me the loudest words of wisdom that I will never forget.
Love you, my sweet dear uncle. Tell Eric I love him, and you all enjoy a Red Stripe and a good cook-up.

Michael will be greatly missed especially because he was my closest family member on Long Island. We spent Thanksgivings together with other families and friends who will remember him with that infectious smile.
He walked this earth with humility, confidence and integrity and oh yes he shined. On Monday night when I got that call, I felt broken and the same ever since. You will be forever in our hearts. RIP Mike.
